My name is Chris and I am incredibly proud to be the Founder and CEO of Harmony Harbour — an organisation created with one clear mission: to provide support, understanding and hope to people facing mental health challenges, crisis situations and some of life’s most difficult moments.
Harmony Harbour was born from my own lived experience of anxiety, depression and ADHD. I understand how important it can be to have someone who will simply listen, without judgement, when you feel you have nowhere else to turn.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge across mental health, crisis and conflict negotiation, psychology, substance misuse and psychiatry, learning alongside qualified professionals, support workers and other organisations.
I have had the privilege of supporting more than 130 people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. These experiences have strengthened my belief that sometimes, one conversation and one person willing to listen can make an enormous difference.
My vision for Harmony Harbour is to create a safe, compassionate and understanding space where nobody feels alone — while also supporting my incredible team who make our work possible.
To me, Harmony Harbour represents hope, connection and the belief that everyone deserves to be heard, understood and treated with compassion.
Everyone has a story. Everyone deserves to be heard.
Reach out. We’re here to listen. You matter.
My journey into mental health support has been shaped by my professional experience, my own lived experiences and my passion for helping others.
Having faced my own challenges with mental health, I understand how important it is to have someone who will listen without judgement, offer understanding and remind you that you are not alone. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach supporting others — with compassion, patience and genuine understanding.
Suicide prevention and crisis support are particularly close to my heart. I have seen how important it can be to have the right person there at the right moment and I am passionate about creating a service where people feel safe enough to reach out.
When Chris shared his vision for Harmony Harbour, I immediately connected with what he wanted to create. I am incredibly proud to stand alongside him as Director of Operations, helping to develop the organisation, supporting the team and ensuring that the people who reach out to us receive the care, compassion and understanding they deserve.
For me, Harmony Harbour is about people. It is about listening, creating connection and reminding someone that their life matters.
Nobody should have to face their darkest moments alone.
My role at Harmony Harbour is a little different from many of the others. While our team spends their time looking after the people who reach out to us, I’m here to make sure the people looking after everyone else are looked after too.
As Welfare Consultant, I support the wellbeing of our team, making sure they have someone to talk to, somewhere to turn and the support they need when things become difficult.
Supporting people through mental health challenges and crisis situations can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be emotionally demanding. I believe that our team should never feel that they have to carry that weight alone.
I’m here to listen, support, encourage and, when necessary, remind everyone to take a breath, step back and look after themselves too.
Harmony Harbour is built on compassion and that compassion needs to start within our own team. If we want to be there for everyone else, we need to make sure we are there for each other.
They look after everyone else. I look after them.
My name is Vicky and I am proud to be part of Harmony Harbour as our Senior Mental Health & Neurodiversity Specialist and also providing crisis support and crisis negotiation.
I am neurodivergent myself and a SEND parent, giving me valuable lived experience of the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and families. As our Neurodiversity Hub Specialist, I am passionate about creating an inclusive space where people feel understood, supported and empowered.
As a Crisis Negotiator, I also support people through some of their most difficult moments, using calm communication, empathy and trust to help them find a way forward.
My aim is simple: to listen without judgement, support with compassion and make sure nobody feels they have to face things alone.
