Calling a crisis line can feel daunting, especially if you’re already overwhelmed. You may not know what to say, where to start, or even whether your situation is “serious enough” to call. When you call the Harmony Harbour Crisis Line, you’ll be connected with a member of our team who will listen to what you’re experiencing without judgement, give you the time and space to explain what’s happening and allow you to talk at your own pace. You can talk about whatever is affecting you — whether you're feeling overwhelmed, distressed, frightened, lonely, struggling with your mental health, or simply don't know what to do next. We won't judge you, dismiss how you're feeling or tell you that you “shouldn't” feel the way you do. Your feelings matter and we're here to help.  Our team may ask questions about how you're feeling and what's happening for you. This helps us understand your situation and work alongside you to identify what support may be helpful. Where appropriate, we can help you explore options and connect you with other services or sources of support that may be able to help. Our aim is to give you a safe, compassionate space to be heard and to help you work through the immediate situation. Our crisis line is not a replacement for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, have harmed yourself or you are unable to keep yourself safe, please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E department immediately.
